This was the easiest assignment for me to do....
I chose the American Cancer Society. As it means a big deal to my family. I have just recently had this tattooed on my leg. So since it was my design I did it with paper. Trying to match the color was very difficult and I couldn't find puple paper. Not using Black and White was difficult as the letters would have been black and the shading of the Ribbon wouldn't have been green.

Hue Test!
I did this test 3 times. I had 4 hue bars.... and I never had a lower score then this. I even made my other half do it and he had a higher score then this. I MADE sure I clicked on USA and English. I don't understand!

Profile Pic with Value
I found this assignment to be really fun. I liked picking the colors from the picture and making them look like my face.
I had actually just taking this picture of my face last sunday, so I had it very handy!

Illusions!
Blurred Motion: The subaru moving through the hills is a perfect example.
Overlapping Ninja Turtles Represents the image of overlapping parts of them and the shadows also overlap into the turtles.
Figure Repeated: This is my picture that we used to promote Field Hockey. This is my senior year and we all repeat the way we stand and our uniforms.
Exaggerated Size. The hands of the artist are much bigger then the people. The different colors also make it abstract-ish.
Anticipated Motion. The angry bird shows by his wings that hes getting ready to go flying. the sling shot also shows that feeling.
Aerial perspective. This image shows great aerial views as of the differnt levels of this city.

Week 8 Examples
Abstract: I chose this because its not so much the "animal" but all the colors that make the shape not so obvious.
Curvilinear: Sea shell from Old Orchard Beach this fall. The strong circular line as the snail would have grown.
Idealistic: Self Explainatory. Wouldn't that be nice! Its never happened in my driving lifetime!
Naturalistic: Just beautiful picture of Parker Hill, Last March/April
Non Objective: Lots of Shapes and colors, but when you look close it makes a human.
Rectilinear: The Chester train station shows sharp lines, but angles off the roof of the building also.

Rhythm
Rigid
Ripples. You can't really see them
Bouncy
Wavy
Alternating Rhythm. I really like the squares and how they all have a "twin" somewhere in the picture.

Balance
I used Sewing materials. As I was working on my quilt, I realized they would work and be different then kitchen utensils.
These are the cut outs. I chose not to use the big white space, this to me looks like a "skeleton" laying down. Its sideways. Don't know how to turn it on here!

Scale and Proportion
I chose shoes... Not only do I have a little fetish with them, I also think they say a lot about a person.
These are my sisters and children's shoes. I love love the picture in the middle. It shoes the "ages" of her 3 children just by the scale of there shoes. I used her shoe and her youngest daughters shoe to show just how much bigger a grown up is in proportion to an infant.

Focal Point Examples
I like this fire as the Flames contrast the dark night.
This squirel is isolated from everything else going on in nature.
This center piece is perfectly placed in the middle of the table and its centered right in the middle of the fabric square.
This one element is centered in the picture and grabbing all of the attention.
To me this cracker platter doesnt have a focal point, as I feel it comes together as 1.

Unity!!!!!
Chaotic: Too busy to really focus on one thing.
Figurative: I love the unity of all 4 women and the flow through their connecting arms.
Grid : I found this to be a "akward" form of a grid. But I found this to be a awesome example.
Proximity : I found this and thought that it looked like a head and neck. If they were farther apart then they wouldn't resemble that and would look more like scattered lines.
Repetition Similarity : Even though the gears are different colors they repeat in a circular motion.
Repetition Variety : Even though these are the same distance apart they create variety because they are different shapes.
